Add watermark
Stamp text like DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL, or your logo, across your pages.
Free, no sign-up. It runs inside your browser: your files never leave your device.
Add a watermark to a PDF: a text stamp like CONFIDENTIAL or DRAFT, or your logo. Place it once in the centre or repeat it across every page.
How to use Add watermark
- Drop one or more PDF files on the page.
- Choose Text (CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, COPY, SAMPLE or My own text) or Picture or logo (PNG or JPG).
- Pick the pattern (One centred, Tiled or Grid), the angle and the opacity. The preview updates as you go.
- Choose the pages, and whether to put it behind the content.
- Click "Add watermark".
Questions
Can I use my company logo?
Yes. Choose "Picture or logo" and add a PNG or JPG. Set its size as a share of the page width.
Is a watermark easy to crop out?
Choose Tiled. Its rows are offset like brickwork, which makes it hard to crop out.
Can the watermark go behind the text?
Yes. Turn on "Put it behind the content". Text and pictures stay on top, but pages with a solid background hide it.
Do my files get uploaded?
No. The watermark is added on your device. It is free with no sign-up.
