Split pages in half
Cut each page in two for book scans, or the PDF into two files.
Free, no sign-up. It runs inside your browser: your files never leave your device.
Split each PDF page in half, for scanned books and two-page spreads. You can also cut a PDF into two files after the page you choose.
How to use Split pages in half
- Drop a PDF on the page.
- Under "Split", choose "Each page in two" or "Into two files".
- For pages, choose Down the middle or Across the middle. Move the cut position, or drag the line on the page, if the spine is not in the centre.
- For two files, set "Split after page".
- Click "Split in half".
Questions
The book's spine is not in the centre. What do I do?
Move the "Cut position" slider, or drag the line on the page.
Can I keep the cover whole?
Yes. Turn on "Keep the cover and back page whole". You can also cut only pages that are wider than tall.
Does it work for books read right to left?
Yes. Turn on "Right half first" for books in Arabic, Hebrew, Urdu, Japanese and other right-to-left scripts.
Is my scan uploaded?
No. The pages are cut on your device and nothing is sent anywhere.
